Emerging from the vibrant energy of Berlin, Wolfgang Michael is an Indie Folk artist whose music resonates with the whispers of nature and the hum of city life. His 2016 debut album, "My River Down the Lane," blends stripped-down acoustic melodies with vintage ambient sounds and delicate percussion, crafting a melancholic yet inviting soundscape.
In 2018 and 2019, Wolfgang embarked on a journey through Australia and New Zealand, performing over 60 shows that echoed with the influences of the landscapes and cultures he encountered. These travels deepened his musical palette, adding layers of wanderlust and introspection to his work.
Now residing in the tranquil setting of South Germany, he is devoted to songwriting and producing his first full-length album. His evolving sound invites listeners into atmospheric realms, where simplicity meets depth in a uniquely personal way.
please take my hand, i’ll follow you
into light and into dark
while the wind keeps blowing round
to brace your heart and save my soul
i’m travelling far, wind in my hair
lonesome roads, they’re passing by
and every time i close my eyes i can see you
your tears, your lovely smile
and lately my spirit cried for peace
he told me i should come to a world of canyons deep; to an old land
where he said my mind has a chance to be free
and whispering winds, are the only curiosity
